There are interiors that look beautiful.
And there are interiors that feel like you.

Mandana Gaulier begins with the person who will live in a room: the life they have built, the objects they treasure and the way they want to feel at home. Drawing by hand, she works through rooms, joinery and individual pieces until those personal details have a place.

The Philosophy

A practice built on three convictions

01

Rooted in Heritage

Persian through her father and Florentine through her mother, Mandana draws on both inheritances. Emerald, garnet and amethyst recall her grandmother’s colours; the care taken over a table setting or a beautifully presented dish comes from her mother. Both shape how she brings a room together.

Precise to the Millimetre

A room is worked through on paper, from the layout and joinery to the furniture and placement of a seam. The smallest decisions belong to the whole.

Material Matters

The softness of velvet, the grain of walnut, the cool touch of stone. Mandana chooses materials for how they feel in daily life, as well as the colour and character they bring to a room.

"No imposed aesthetic. No replicated formula. Every project begins with the client."

Mandana believes a home should reflect the life within it — not the prevailing aesthetic of the moment. Her work goes the other way: inward, individual, permanent.
